XAT is a non-profit organisation. Money earned from bonus accounts is used to keep this project up and running.
We believe that the way wealth is being distributed throughout the World is grossly unfair. In response, XAT is attempting to bring people together and show that, through the power of mass participation, this can be put right.
To encourage this a Specialised Direct Democracy is being suggested, using aspects of the Swiss model in combination with new ideas aimed at addressing the fundamental problems usually faced by this type of democracy.
XAT is a model designed to be demonstrated by participation and eventually offered at referendum to peacefully replace the current system via the democratic process.
It explores how our current economic system came into being. (You might be surprised at what has gone on in the name of progress). XAT then takes the bold step of suggesting there could be a better way, and thanks to positive input by many of our members, XAT is now able to set out the design for what this better way could be.
This includes a working economic plan with it's own interest free new Global Currency, set up and supported by ecologically sound principals, and based on historically proven methods.
Such a Currency replacing our current money would mean:
• No Taxes
• All Public Services Fully Funded
• Real People Power Democracy minus Politicians
• A complete system of Fair Trade
• A Stable Economy free from Inflation
• Incentives to produce ecological and socially responsible goods and services

Rather than just talking in a idealistic way, this site actually gives you the chance to try most of the ideas which are suggested in the text.
Here is how.
In our Classified Ads section you will find goods and services advertised which can be paid for in part with the XAT global currency.
We give all members who open a standard free account £200 worth of XAT global currency, this allows people to get started in trading with each other. As the numbers grow the more worth there'll be in having such an account.
If you are interested in buying something which includes XAT currency you need to ask the seller for their XAT account number.
As long as you have enough in your account, you can then transfer the currency into the sellers account by phoning 0207 48 111 98 and following the simple step by step instructions; the seller can then confirm the currency has been transferred by calling the same number.
If you have something to sell or a service to offer, you can attract more customers by placing a FREE advertisement in the XAT Classifieds Ads calculating your asking price to include 15% or more in XAT currency. The higher the percentage you accept, the more tempting your offer will be to other members.
We urge you to PLACE A FREE AD for any service you might provide or any of your car boot type items you no longer need and you think might be useful to someone else. It really helps to place an ad because the more things there are available, the more interesting and beneficial the whole project becomes.
As with many
things, trading is easy once you've done it once.
This is a working positive alternative which needs only your support and
participation to grow.
